The Town of New Fairfield, located in Western Connecticut, and nestled along the New York border, is known for its close-knit community, welcoming neighborhoods, strong sense of local pride and natural beauty. New Fairfield, with a population of 13,391 residents in 2025, is one of five towns that surround Candlewood Lake, Connecticut’s largest lake.
